Suddenly I could not read the e-book when reading it on the service.

If you were reading by pressing “Tameshi-yomi (trial reading)” button, the reading time is limited. Please request the e-book if you want to read it thoroughly without time limit! Press the “Request” button to check the details on the pop-up screen.

The title I made a purchase request has not been purchased yet.

Please check if any of the following apply:

  • The title is already purchased on another platform
    • Example)
      If the title you requested on “ProQuest Ebook Central” is already purchased on “Maruzen eBook Library,” it will not be purchased on “ProQuest Ebook Central” in principle, to avoid duplicate purchase.
    • Example)
      If the title you requested on “KinoDen” is a part of the same series (or one of the two volumes) as the one already purchased on “Maruzen eBook Library,” it may be purchased on “Maruzen eBook Library” as well.
  • The title is available on a database to which Doshisha University is subscribed
    Example)
    If you requested a title that is available on the database “Toyo Keizai Digital Contents Library” to which Doshisha University is subscribed, it will not be purchased on “Maruzen eBook Library” or “KinoDen” in principle, to avoid duplicate purchase.

  • Your e-mail address is invalid
    Make sure to enter your university-provided e-mail address with the domain doshisha.ac.jp when you make a purchase request. Incomplete or incorrect requests will be considered invalid.
