Seal images have been released on the Doshisha University Digital
Collections.
Seals stamped on valuable materials held by our university are collected
as digital images, and metadata items such as yin and yang, shape, size,
etc. are added.
Seals are a seal or imprint stamped by the owner of a material to
indicate the ownership of that material.
You can find out various information about the materials, such as the
history of the materials and the value of the materials.
Originating in China, it spread throughout the East, including Japan.
In the West, cards with similar functions are treated as seals.
Doshisha University Digital Collections provides digital contents based
on the terms of reuse for images.
We hope that it will be useful.

Imadegawa Library is pleased to offer the guided tours in English. Library staff will show you around the library and give you instructions on how to use the library materials and the facilities.
Available to all students, faculty, and staff of Doshisha University.
Dates: May 8 (Mon.) – June 30 (Fri.) except weekends and holidays
Time: The 30-minute tour starts at 2 p.m. or 4 p.m.
