Q2 Can I renew the loan period of the book borrowed
from the Library online?

A | You can renew the loan period of the book on DOORS if it has not been requested by another person. For the details, please refer toTips for DOORS 5 - My DOORS. |
Q3 Can I obtain a material from other universities or institutions?

A | If Doshisha University Library do not hold the material that you would like to use, you can obtain the material from other university or institution libraries in one of the following ways: 1) Interlibrary loan/photocopy You can request the material or a photocopy of a part of the material from other libraries. 2) Visiting other libraries You can visit other libraries to use the material. For the details, please refer to Using other universities and institution’s materials on the library website. |
Q4 How can I use databases at home?

A | You can access databases via the Digital Library. For off-campus use, you need VPN connection except some databases. If you have any questions about connection setup, please contact the IT Support Office. |
Q5 If DOORS shows “Online Resources” as the location, how can I use the material?

A | That material is one of electronic resources (e-journal/e-book). You can access and utilize the material by clicking “Link to content” on the search result (the next page of Result List). For off-campus use, you need VPN connection except some databases. If you have any questions about connection setup, please contact the IT Support Office. |

A | Please inquire at the university or institution library which you are a student at or work for, or a nearby public library before visiting the Library. For the details, please refer to For Visitors on the library website. |
